How to read this schedule

The schedule is arranged with a daily bulleted list of what is due that day. Everything listed under Jun. 1: Introductions is due on Monday, June 1, 2020. It doesn’t have to be by midnight, but it should be completed by by 9am the next day.

Week 1: What is American literature?

Jun. 1: Introductions

  • READ the About page for the syllabus and course policies.
  • SIGN-UP for CUNY Manifold: https://cuny.manifoldapp.org/
  • JOIN the class Slack workspace with this invitation link.
  • COMPLETE your Slack profile by entering your full name, display name and a photo.
  • UPLOAD a short, 1-2 minute video introduction to yourself in the #ice-breakers channel on Slack (If you don’t have the technology to easily record video or audio, send me a direct message on Slack). Make sure you say your name and what your Slack name in. Also give one or two facts about yourself. They can be anything. What’s the show you’ve been binging and why do you like it? Where’s your favorite place to walk these days? You can see an example here.
